Grand Floridian Lobby Bar Coming Soon
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is just minutes from the Magic Kingdom. This resort embodies the essence of the golden age of travel, showcasing Victorian elegance and an opulent seaside ambiance.
The lobby refurbishment signifies the conclusion of the multi-year renovation undertaken by the Grand Floridian. Notable updates include enhanced guest rooms and revitalized dining experiences, particularly for the Michelin-starred Victoria & Albert’s, as well as other dining options throughout the resort.
Entering the Grand Floridian lobby is an enchanting experience, with the gentle piano melodies, elegant chandeliers, and exquisite floral arrangements creating a serene and luxurious ambiance.
Soon, guests of the Grand Floridian will have the opportunity to savor this atmosphere with a beverage in hand, as a new lobby bar is set to open soon.
Drawing inspiration from the birdcage in the lobby, the bar beautifully reflects the resort’s Victorian charm with intricate woodwork, stunning stained glass, and elegant brass accents. The atrium’s stained glass showcases vibrant and lively bird motifs, adding a touch of whimsy and color.
After the lobby renovation is complete, guests will continue to enjoy the cherished cage-style elevator that has long captivated fans.

The lobby, staircase, and front desk will undergo revitalization, featuring a harmonious mix of botanical accents and inviting colors that evoke a bright, garden-inspired atmosphere.
Disney Imagineers have masterfully overseen this refurbishment, preserving the Grand Floridian’s timeless charm while reimagining the lobby into a refreshed and sophisticated experience for guests.
The updated rendering reveals a lobby graced with luxurious new carpeting, embellished by Victorian-inspired borders and intricate scrollwork. Hand-drawn florals, inspired by turn-of-the-century botanical studies, add an elegant and timeless touch.
The updated furnishings will feature opulent finishes and brass details, paired with cozy, welcoming fabrics. These will be enhanced by playful touches inspired by Florida’s natural charm and the elegance of Victorian design trends.
