Here is the list of current and upcoming closures for Disneyland rides, attractions and shops. Disney often changes the dates of these temporary ride closures, whether to move up or postpone, so always check here as your trip gets closer. We update our list weekly! (updated May 20, 2025)

Welcome to the beginning of the 70th Celebration! Now that the celebration has kicked off, we probably won’t see as many closings as we have been seeing recently!

  • Avengers Campus expansion — the walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land is closed. Cars Land can be accessed via the Performance Corridor or San Fransokyo Square. Avengers Campus can be accessed via the Performance Corridor or Hollywood Land. The Service Animal Relief Area has relocated to the space between Sarge’s Surplus Hut and Fillmore’s Taste-In

Refurbishments

Hotels of Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Hotel Refurbishments

  • The E-Ticket Club in the Adventure Tower is currently undergoing refurbishment. During construction, a temporary Concierge lounge is located on the lobby level of the Frontier Tower for all Club-Level Guests.
  • Electric vehicle charging will be temporarily unavailable at this hotel due to system upgrades beginning in March 2025 and continuing through the spring — with completion expected this summer. During that time, you may use the vehicle charging stations in the Simba Lot.

Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa Refurbishments 

  • The Grand Californian theme park entrance will be closed, starting March 10, 2025, to mid-May. Hotel guests can use an alternate entrance next to the hotel.
  • Napa Rose will close in April and reopen in fall 2025. Starting in April, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures will move to the Trillium Room.

Pixar Place Hotel Refurbishments

  • None

Disneyland Seasonal Closures

These attractions and rides usually close seasonally at Disneyland for refurbishments and holiday overlays. The estimated dates on this Disneyland refurbishment schedule are based on past ride closures. We’ll always post the specific dates when we receive them under Disneyland ride refurbishments.

  • Grizzly River Run: Usually closes early January through February or March for seasonal refurbishment.
  • Haunted Mansion: Usually closes mid-August for holiday overlay installation and reopens September; closes early January for holiday overlay removal and reopens mid-January.
  • it’s a small world: Usually closes mid to late October for holiday overlay installation and reopens November; closes mid-January for holiday overlay removal and reopens late January/early February.
